iFilm English TV to air finale for ‘The Forbidden Fruit’

iFilm English TV Channel has been scheduled to air the final episode of ‘The Forbidden Fruit’ on Monday night.

The final episode of the series will go on air at 23:00 GMT and it will be replayed the next day at 05:00, 11:00 and 17:00.

‘The Forbidden Fruit’ has been produced by Esmaeel Afifeh and directed by Hassan Fathi.

It tells the story of a severely religious businessman whose faith is being put to question after he meets a young girl who is in desperate need of his help.

His once perfect life collapses in front of his eyes as he realizes the pretense that is threatening his reputation, faith and family.

Among the cast list are Ammar Tafti, Hanieh Tavassoli, Amir Jafari, Tannaz Tabatabaee, Gohar Kheirandish, Ali Nasiriyan, Nima Raeesi, Hormoz Hedayat, Kazem Balouchi, Shabnam Farshadjou, Sediqeh Kianfar, Kianoush Gerami, and Javad Ensafi.

‘The Forbidden Fruit’, made in 2007, will be replaced by the series ‘A Mother's Sacrifices’ made by Behrang Tofiqi.
